Why we're letting people in slowly

The Helpix beta, one tradesperson at a time

We could open Helpix to everyone tomorrow.

We're not going to.

Right now it's a closed beta. A handful of tradespeople. Plumbers, electricians, people who fix boilers. We onboard them one at a time, by chat, in about five minutes. Your trade, your area, your prices, how much deposit you want.

Then Helpix talks to their customers in their name.

That last part is why we're slow.

A plumber in Chamberí doesn't talk like a plumber in Glasgow. If the answers don't sound like him, his customers notice, and he stops trusting it. Once that's gone, you don't get it back.

So we sit with every one. We read the conversations. We fix the tone. Then we let the next one in.

It's slower. It's also the only way this works.

If you fix things for a living and you're tired of losing jobs to a missed call, the waitlist link is in the first comment. We'll get to you. In order.
