Regretting what I missed by not diving into Scotland’s culture sooner

As a professional in my late 40s who made the move to Scotland, I've gotta say one of my biggest regrets is not fully immersing myself in the local culture.

I was so caught up with work that I didn't make enough time to check out the sights, learn more about the history, and get to know the locals. And man, do I regret that now!

I feel like I missed out on a ton of opportunities for making some rad memories and building lasting relationships.

If I could do it all over again, I'd make a point to be more open to trying new things and embracing the Scottish way of life. Live and learn, right?
